Your account will not be created unless you submit the form completely and receive a confirmation email. Please note that you can revisit your registration at any time and edit your info until August 1st!

INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPLETING THE ONLINE 2017 SORORITY RECRUITMENT REGISTRATION FORM

We are delighted that you are interested in sorority life at The University of Georgia. To participate in 2017 Formal Recruitment at UGA, interested women need to complete the online registration and pay the required registration fee by August 1, 2017.

To ensure that your interest form is submitted correctly and without error, it is highly recommended that you thoroughlyREAD all the instructions listed below before starting the online registration process.

1. Verify that you are registering for the correct recruitment process

Be sure you are selecting the correct recruitment process. In order to participate in Panhellenic recruitment events, you must be a regularly enrolled female student or plan to be a full-time student in good standing with The University of Georgia at the time of recruitment in August.

Panhellenic Fall Sorority Recruitment is for the 18 National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) sororities currently recognized at UGA. They are: Alpha Chi Omega, Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Gamma Delta, Alpha Omicron Pi, Chi Omega, Delta Delta Delta, Delta Gamma, Delta Phi Epsilon, Delta Zeta, Gamma Phi Beta, Kappa Alpha Theta, Kappa Delta, Kappa Kappa Gamma, Phi Mu, Pi Beta Phi, Sigma Delta Tau, Sigma Kappa, and Zeta Tau Alpha.

2. Gather supporting materials (i.e. resume, transcript, etc.)

You will have the option of editing your registration application at any time prior to August 1, 2017. We suggest that you prepare yourself before you begin completing the online registration form by having the following items on hand:

        Personal Information (i.e. UGA email address, UGA Student ID number, GPA, test scores, etc.)

o    You can access your UGA ID number at your "My Status" page:https://www2.admissions.uga.edu/access. It is also the same number you received when you created an account to apply for admission to UGA. It will begin with the numbers 81. 

o    If you have not been assigned a UGA email address at the time of your registration, you can add that information at a later date. Please use an email address you will have access to throughout the summer and NOT a high school assigned account. 

        List of extracurricular activities, honors, community service and work experience

        Sorority legacy information

o    If your mother, sister, or grandmother was a member of a sorority, you willbe asked to enter her name, sorority, and college attended.

        If available, a digital copy of your high school or college transcript

o    If you do not have a copy of your transcript at the time of registration that is OKAY! Please log back in to your account at a later date, prior to August 1st, to add your transcript. You can also upload a partial transcript until your final transcript becomes available. This DOES NOT have to be a signed, official copy.

o    Transcripts must be less than 1MB in size and while a PDF copy is preferable, you can submit your transcript in any one of the following allowable formats: doc, docx, xls, xlsx, txt, pdf, gif, jpg, jpeg.

o    Please black-out your social security number if it is on your transcript!!

3. Complete the Online Recruitment Interest Form

Click "SIGN UP FOR RECRUITMENT" at the top of this page.

On the crop-down menu, select "I'd like to join a sorority/fraternity." 

Enter your information, and be sure to use an email address you will have access to throughout the summer. 

PLEASE NOTE: THIS REGISTRATION IS NOT CONNECTED TO YOUR UGA ACCOUNTS AND WILL BE UNIQUE TO THIS SORORITY RECRUITMENT SYSTEM. 

4. Pay the Registration Fee


You will need to log back into your account to check the status of your payment. When your payment has been received and processed, the last information field will display "PAYMENT RECEIVED." Please note that your registration will not be fully complete until you mail in your payment!

The registration fee for July 16 - August 1 is $250. Checks must be postmarked by the deadlines for each payment cycle to avoid the next higher charge. All checks are due within 2 weeks from the day of your online registration submission. 
The late registration fee of $250 applies to checks sent on or after July 16th.

5. Review the UGA Panhellenic Website

Review the information on the Fall 2017 Recruitment page on the UGA Panhellenic Council website, which is located at http://panhellenic.uga.edu . We also recommend that you follow the UGA Panhellenic Council and UGA Greek Life on Facebook and Twitter for current updates on recruitment.
